The AI Strategy & Public Policy Practice is led by Max Rangeley and Lord Fairfax. Max has been involved in artificial intelligence policy for many years, organising and moderating Artificial Intelligence Roundtable Discussions in the European Parliament and speaking at organisations including the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) in Washington, D.C. Lord Fairfax served on the House of Lords Committee on Artificial Intelligence and Weapons Systems and has maintained a long-standing interest in AI, having delivered his first speech on the subject in the House of Lords more than forty years ago.
Together, they recently co-edited The Artificial Intelligence Revolution, published by Springer Nature. Bringing together leading contributors from government, academia, international organisations, defence and industry—including senior figures from the United Nations, the RAND Corporation, policymakers, military experts and leading AI researchers—the volume has established itself as one of the most comprehensive works on artificial intelligence strategy, governance and public policy published to date.
