Max Rangeley

Max founded Max Rangeley & Partners to provide complete services to startups and other businesses and organisations.

In his twenties, Max was given a scholarship to do a PhD at the London School of Economics, but turned this down to go into business. He set up ReboundTAG, which produced the first microchip luggage tag that works in all airports worldwide. It was featured on BBC World News among other media and customers included Facebook, Google, Sony, Paypal, Oracle, several major airlines and most of the major hotel chains.

From 2014 he ran run a think tank founded by a member of Parliament, and served on the boards of other think tanks in London and Brussels. He put an emphasis on emerging technologies, including organising and moderating the artificial intelligence roundtable discussions in the European Parliament.

In 2026, he started Max Rangeley & Partners, which provides complete services for startups – whatever you need, from animations to web development to apps to global distribution, we can take care of it.

Max has published several books with Springer Nature, currenlty ranked as the most elite academic publisher in Europe, on central banking, free trade, artificial intelligence, the future of money, the power of the mind in medicine, and the science of longevity. Most recenlty he published The Artificial Intelligence revolution with Lord Fairfax; this has chapters from many of the top AI experts in the world, from the most senior AI person at the United Nations to politicians working on AI policy, to the world’s most prestigious AI professors to senior military figures – as well as a foreword by a Nobel Prize winner. It is the seminal academic work on AI policy in the world at the moment.
